We’ve moved!

Finally, Christ’s Glory Church has been enjoying a comfortable place where we hold church worship and fellowships together.

Our Church has been here for some time now. As we look back, we always remember God’s goodness upon us, after a past year of happenings; first, extreme heat and pouring, heavy rains which once made the roofs leak so badly that it flooded the place during one Sunday. Since then, they’ve decided to find a more decent, better place where we could do our activities seriously and peacefully.

Finding a new place wasn’t easy, but we needed to move right a way. There were times when we would lose hope and give up, we have left our former place and only had a few more days to find another one.

Each family from our church we did our duty, to searching, browsing, asking, and driving around from place to place, when this day came and there was a place which was possible for us. Everyone got very excited to fix and organize it. We had hopes up but after a few days, the owners of the place disapproved and backed off. Since there was another church who too rented another slot, thinking that they and our church may be conflicts, so they did not accept us.

Our joy once again faded and again did the searching. It was challenging, sometimes frustrating, and hopeless. We did find some places but it wasn’t fit for us. Until one sunny morning, some of the people found another place that could be for us to use. We had hope. Again. We prayed, asked for help and discussed together. The place was perfect, it had a big outdoor space perfect for activities and others. The gathering hall was good, it was perfect for CGC! They cannot back down now, this was the best we’ve seen!

Finally, our prayers were answered! It was for us to use, we were accepted! Soon after, we started planning and fixing and thanking Him for for helping us. And at last, we had our Sunday worship at the new place last June 2, 2019. We are hoping that as we have moved to a new place, we would spread the gospel to the people around us more than we did there in our last place in Marikina.

To this day, we never forget our first memories here in Antipolo, with this experience, we learned to rely on His grace and will for us. Truly He is good. Soli Deo Gloria!
